I have been taking vocal lessons with Carrie for the past few years, and have noticed a huge improvement in my singing ability! Carrie is a wonderful teacher, and I look forward to each lesson I have. She is extremely, supportive, kind, and helpful, and I am so grateful she has been able to help me grow as a singer and in my acting ability.

My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Carrie for more than two years. Her impact has been tremendous; I am amazed by how much my daughter's voice has grown and matured. Carrie's theater background is also extremely helpful, as she often helps my daughter prepare for her high school theater roles. Carrie is kind, generous and very flexible, which helps when juggling my daughter's schedule. I highly recommend her!

Carrie is such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to improving your vocals and stage presence. In addition she has an uncanny ability to meet the student where s/he is at... whether its at a very basic or advanced level. Cannot recommend her enough.

My 13-year old daughter has the fortune of studying drama with Carrie. She has learned much about drama and we can see the improvement in her skills. But Carrie's teaching has gone beyond the teaching of drama - Carrie has helped my daughter to dig-deep and express herself, to overcome fear and hesitation, and to have more confidence and pride in her accomplishments. Carrie is very-much in tune with the "life" aspects of her teaching, which is so important for young students. I highly recommend Carrie's teaching abilities, and her thoughtful, holistic approach to developing her students.

I recently had the pleasurable experience of working as the pianist with Carrie during Lumen Christi's production of "Godspell", and, like many of the others shown here, found her to be a delight to work with. It was truly one of those "magical" experiences that come along all too infrequently, and was largely due in part to Carrie's enthusiasm, sense of teamwork, and encouragement to excel. She was not only talented and knowledgeable on the professional side, she was also considerate and sensitive on the human side. Carrie related well with students, parents and staff, was always mindful of school responsibilities, yet also stressed the importance of fun and hard work, all of which resulted in an excellent production. I look forward to working with Carrie again in the future, and would highly recommend her to anyone for any type of a theatrical endeavor.

Carrie directed Godspell at my high school and it was such an awesome experience and I'm so happy that I was able to be a part of it! It was the perfect combination of fun and productivity and I couldn't have asked for anything better 🙂

Carrie directed my school's production of Godspell, and it was such an amazing experience. Carrie made every rehearsal fun while getting a lot of work done. She created such a wonderful environment for everyone. She connected with each and every person and helped us all become one big family. It was such an incredible experience to share such a fun filled musical with such a great director. Carrie is beyond amazing.

Carrie was wonderful to work with! She came to my school to direct Godspell, and she managed to make a very large undertaking fun for all of us. She never had to get forceful with us, which is hard to do with a bunch of adolescent teenagers. We all respected her so much she never had to go beyond a quiet request for attention, and even that she only had to do twice. It can be volatile to have a group of teenagers working together, but Carrie had a way of, very quickly, turning us all into companions, fellows, even friends. Carrie was wonderful to work with, and her directing style... well, Rocked!

Carrie came into our school to direct the show Godspell on short notice. After we had hired her, a friend sent me a message saying "Nice choice, she's very professional and will do a great job for you." I totally agree, and yet this almost sounds modest. She not only got the job done, but with her energy, enthusiasm and positive vibes the cast latched right onto her and had a wonderful experience. As the music director, I felt Carrie was very sensitive to the directions and decisions I had made as well during the production and was wonderful to work with one on one. Would definitely recommend her to anyone interesting in acting or voice lessons. She is fabulous!

I met Carrie when she was the artistic director for the 2013 Lumen Christi High School Production of Godspell. I can definitely say Carrie is the best person I have worked with in my 10 year experience of theater! While Carrie is right to business and gets the job done, she makes the environment fun, enjoyable, and positive! She creates a judgement-free environment where it is possible for anyone to express themselves in anyway they want. Carrie knows how to create a bond and family between a cast or any other group of people unlike any other organization/team. FIRE THE JUDGE!!! 😀
